Checklist for voters

Make sure you're registered to vote by Tuesday 18 June
Register to vote now
If you're already registered you don't need to reapply. Registered voters will get their poll card in the next few weeks.

Check you've got photo I.D.
The following forms of photo I.D. will be accepted at the polling station:
• Passport
• Driving licence (including provisional license)
• Blue badge
• Certain concessionary travel cards
• Identity card with PASS mark (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
• Biometric Immigration document
• Defence identity card
• Certain national identity cards.

The deadline for proxy vote registration is Wednesday 26 June, 5pm.

Do you vote in Oakthorpe and Donisthorpe, or Appleby? Your parliamentary constituency has changed.
What does this mean?
You will vote in the Hinckley and Bosworth constituency on Thursday 4 July 2024 and in future general elections.
The candidates you see on the ballot paper will be those standing in Hinckley and Bosworth.
You will still vote in North West Leicestershire for any district or parish council elections.
Where should I vote?
You should go to the polling station shown on your poll card, as usual.
