A night of celebration - Newark Business Awards 2023
On the 9 June local businesses across Newark gathered together to celebrate each other’s incredible achievements over the last year. We took great pride in sponsoring the Best Start-Up Category again this year. The decision was far from easy, as all of the nominees demonstrated remarkable talent and excellence!
After careful consideration and lots of discussion, we chose Shaw Sparks Electricals and Property Services as our winner. With over seven years of experience as an electrician in Newark and Sherwood, Tom’s unwavering dedication and extensive expertise have established him as a true talent and an asset to the area. His steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional electrical services and ensuring the best customer satisfaction truly sets him apart!
We want to wish Tom a huge congratulations again for his well-deserved win!
We’d also like to congratulate our runner up and Highly Commended start-up, Not My Monkey, who has taken the town by storm this year! Not My Monkey is a stylish coffee house by day and a wine lounge by night, bringing that taste of London glamour to Newark.
Our other nominees included Middle Gymnastics Club and Paw Petrol Pet Services – it was such a hard decision to choose a winner and all four should be so proud of everything they’ve achieved in this last year. We look forward to watching you continue to flourish!
