In the lead-up to Notts Day on 25 August, you can look forward to a packed programme of family-friendly activities, including an interactive, family-friendly outdoor trail that brings local legends to life from author D.H Lawrence to visionary mathematician Ada Lovelace -through a series of illustrated puzzle boards.
The event will conclude with a spectacular tournament-style combat show, bringing an exciting end to the day’s entertainment.

A holiday club with a difference!
At The Mill Adventure Base, your child will get to try exciting new activities, learn new skills, and make new friends, all while having fun. The club is for young people for ages 7 to 13, book for a single day or a whole week of adventures!
Older children can join in the fun with the Teens Holiday Club for ages 13 to 16. An unforgettable week of outdoor exploration, confidence-building, and friendship-making.

Win a family day at Gloworm festival!
The Gloworm family festival is taking place 7 to 9 August 2026 at Thoresby Park.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Gloworm will feature SpongeBob SquarePants, Nick Cope, Maddie Moate, Pat Sharp with the Fun House Twins, Twist and Pulse, Straight Out of Oz, Mama G, Nigel Clarke and Mythic Adventures, alongside White Post Farm, the beach, circus fun and the fairground.
