Welcome to our February edition. You will notice we have changed the name of our bulletin to include 'care' as we will be featuring more items and updates on adult social care in future.
Big Conversation report published
The Big Conversation report has now been published. Think Local Act Personal (TLAP), the independent organisation Nottinghamshire County Council Adult Social Care worked with to deliver the Big Conversation, has compiled the feedback from listening events held across the county, surveys and sessions, into a report.
TLAP wanted to find out what was important for local people who draw on adult social care and support, and family/friend carers, and to hear their ideas for the future of social care.
The feedback in the report will be used to co-produce and refresh the Local Account, the Adult Social Care strategy, for 2026-2028. If you want to get involved in this work or have any questions, please contact nccbigconversation@nottscc.gov.uk.
You can find the report and more information on our website.

Contraception After Pregnancy survey
Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottingham City Council and NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire would like to hear residents' experiences of accessing contraception after pregnancy. This is important to understand how services can be designed to improve experiences, and to work to make contraception more accessible to residents at key points in their lives.
Responses will be completely anonymous. The survey is open until 6 March 2026 and it takes around 10 minutes to complete. Other formats of the survey, including paper and translated copies, are available to complete by calling 0115 8041431.
