Mansfield family hub celebrates £150,000 funding transformation
Oak Tree family hub in Mansfield, has benefitted from a £150,000 funding investment from the Levelling Up Fund from central government, matched with funding from the county council.
Mansfield District Council and the county council worked together to secure the funding and propose the joint project. The new site has been revamped into a welcoming family hub, designed to help better meet the needs of local children age 0 to 18 years and their families.
The funding has been used to revitalise and improve the facilities, with a fantastic new outdoor area full of new equipment, including a climbing frame, slide, mud kitchen and garden.

Supporting local businesses and awards
Nottinghamshire Day - Monday 25 August
Supporting the local economy is one of the key themes of Nottinghamshire Day. We want to help businesses use Notts Day as a way to promote themselves, and encourage people to support local. We've created a number of online assets and posters with the #ShopLocal and #SupportLocalBusiness messages.
Use them on social media or display the poster in your premises in the lead up to and on Nottinghamshire Day as a way of showing pride in your community.
