Are your child’s vaccinations up to date?
Childhood infections like measles and whooping cough are rising, with outbreaks across the East Midlands. If your child isn’t vaccinated, they might not be protected against these diseases. At best it will mean missing nursery and time off work for you, at worst these infections can result in lifelong complications, disability or even death.
If you are not sure if your child is up to date with their vaccinations, then you can check in their red book or contact their GP surgery. Any missing vaccinations can be ‘caught up’.
