We are recruiting new Local Area Coordinators to work with communities in Eastwood, Carlton and Langold and Rainworth and Blidworth areas.
The roles form part of our early help and support team which aims to improve the way help is provided to some of the most vulnerable and hard-to-reach residents in the county.

Free cost of living advice
Looking for benefits or general cost of living advice?
Our benefits team now offer regular, free, face to face sessions at various venues across the county. They offer advice, guidance and ‘better off’ calculations to ensure you are receiving the benefits you are entitled to, to help maximise your income.

Summer support is on its way
More than 33,000 eligible households have now been contacted with details of how to apply for a summer payment to help with rising costs, including around 14,500 households who receive pension credits
Thanks to everyone for their patience while we process these payments – we are working hard to get this payment to you as soon as we can

Tour of Britain 2023
The world-famous cycle race returns for a fourth time since 2017. Starting from Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre the 170-kilometre fourth stage will then finish in Newark on Wednesday 6 September.
Towns and villages along the Nottinghamshire route of this year’s Tour of Britain are once again being encouraged to create eye-catching land art for the eagerly anticipated stage.

Notts Help Yourself is the one place to go for information and services supporting Nottinghamshire residents and professionals.
With over 6,000 listings, it’s great free advertising, but over time some listings have become out of date. It’s time for a major data cleanse, so over the summer we’ll be contacting all organisations already listed to remind you to update your listing.
