This Children’s Mental Health Week, 6-12 February, we are spreading the message about NottAlone.
NottAlone is here to support children and young people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire access mental health support. The website has lots of helpful articles and videos for young people, as well as links to local support services and organisations that offer specific mental health support.
Nottinghamshire County Council has worked in partnership with Nottingham City Council and with NHS support, to develop a place where children and young people can access local, tailored advice for their needs.
Our foster carer Maureen was interviewed on BBC Radio Nottingham recently! She talked about why teens are her favourite age to foster, and encouraged more people to think about fostering.
Find information and services to help support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.
With a wealth of useful information about things to do, education, getting around, preparing for adulthood, health and social care, short breaks, and the young people’s zone, it's really worth a look.
