New What’s On Guide for September – December 2022
Inspire's brand-new What’s On Guide for the Autumn season is now available to view online or pick up from your local library and Nottinghamshire Archives! It’s a packed Autumn season of fantastic arts and cultural events live at your local library and beyond. There’s something for everyone to be inspired to read, learn, and enjoy culture this Autumn.
The Inspire Poetry Festival is back for 2022!
Join us from 17-24 September at Inspire Libraries to celebrate a week of wonderful words with performances, workshops, exhibitions and film showings. From a Nottinghamshire dialect poetry workshop with Andrew Graves and a showing of BBC4 documentary "Evidently... John Cooper Clarke", to a neurodiverse poetry event with poets from Writing East Midlands' Beyond the Spectrum project and a selection of readings about the work and lives of local mining communities. There's something for everyone at libraries across the county and online.

Heritage Open Days Week: Astounding Inventions
9 – 18 September
Welcome to England’s largest festival of history and culture! It's your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – all of which are FREE to explore. Take a tour behind the scenes of Nottinghamshire Archives, participate in a Heritage Café, or join Chris Sidwells – author of Cycling Legends: TI-Raleigh – to hear about the remarkable achievements of the TI-Raleigh professional cycling team.

Twiddlers Exhibition
FREE Worksop Library Wednesday 17 August – Sunday 2 October
Don’t miss this wonderful wall of wool. Nottinghamshire crafters have embellished Worksop Library Gallery walls with rows and rows of colourful and textured Twiddlers, and they are all for charity! Come and celebrate the amazing skills and generosity of Notts crafters with us.

At 14 Inspire Libraries from 12 September FREE but places filling fast
Adventures in Music uses rhythm, music and movement to develop your child's language skills, spark their imagination and build their confidence in exploring and making music.
From pirates to fairies, a mermaid city to a monster mountain - there are 10 sessions in total with a different enchanting theme each week so you and your little one can clap, stamp, shake, dance and sing!
