Be Inspired this Summer

We are excited to launch Inspire’s new season of culture and learning, with a packed programme of live and online events and courses in libraries and other venues. There’s something for readers, families, young people; jazz, art and theatre fans.  The Local History Fair will be live for the first time since 2019, and heritage lovers can also enjoy events by Nottinghamshire Archives once more.  Upskill your summer at Inspire Adult Learning with an amazing range of community, family learning and funded accredited courses for adults. Young people can still enrol for a September start at Inspire Learning College

Becoming a member of Inspire Libraries for free not only gives you the opportunity to borrow fantastic physical books, but you also have access to thousands of eBooks, eAudio, eMagazines and eNewspapers that you can borrow in just a few clicks from the comfort of your own home! And you’ll never be stuck for inspiration on what to read with our librarians’ recommendations. Find our recommended reads.

If you’re looking to make new friends who also love reading but can’t make it to one of our library reading groups, don’t forget we also have our Inspire Online Book Club where you can read and discuss a new book every month with likeminded people.

Or, if you have a desire to meet local authors and find out how they craft their stories, look out for author talks at our libraries.
