Spring/Easter school holidays!

Although the weather doesn't seem to be too sure - it's official: spring is finally here! 🌷

And that means that the spring/Easter school holidays are here too! But don't fear if you're a little behind on your school holiday activity planning - 'hop' into action and take a look at the fantastic choice of fun activities on offer at our country parks and libraries this school holiday!

Families eligible for free school meals

We're pleased to offer approximately 25,000 eligible children in Notts free school meals vouchers over the upcoming school holidays. Find out more about the free school meal voucher announcement this week.

The Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme is open to children and young people aged between 5 – 16 years who receive benefits-related free school meals. Eligible children and young people will be able to access activities with food over the spring school holiday, find out what activities are available near you:

Reception and primary school places for September

National Offer Day for children starting school (reception) or transferring from infant to junior/primary school (Year 3) in September 2022 is coming up, on Tuesday 19 April.

Parents who applied online will be able to view their offer by logging in to their online application on 19 April. Those who opted to receive an email outcome will also get an email with the name of the school their child has been offered.

Outcomes cannot be given over the phone. For anyone who applied by phone or post, we will send offer letters out on 19 April and they will arrive within a few days.
