Tour of Britain returns to Nottinghamshire!
Yes you read that right – Tour of Britain will be coming back to Notts this year, where we will host the 5th stage of the race on Thursday 8 September 2022!
We have proudly hosted stages of the Tour of Britain in 2017 and 2018, which saw a huge boost in our local economy as well as bringing our amazing community together to celebrate such a brilliant event on our very doorstep.
Let’s take a look back at some of the highlights of previous years…
Amazing land art!
Land art is a fantastic way to show support for the riders and get your local area seen on the big screen!
Here you can see some amazing land art from a local farmer who got his sheep to form the shape of a bicycle next to a section of the race route in 2017.
Take a look at some more fab examples of Nottinghamshire land art in previous years, which could inspire you to create some land art of your own for TOB 2022.
