Safeguarding event for the third sector this Monday – book your place
A special event offering tips and advice about how to safeguard from radicalisation and extremism is being held on Monday 10th January 2022, 2pm - 3.30pm
The webinar is aimed at third sector organisations, particularly those looking to update their safeguarding procedures.
It will provide a brief introduction to the Prevent programme as well as presentations from other third-sector partners (Faith Matters, Kikit, the Princes Trust, and Small Steps) who will offer tips, lessons learned and examples of best practice that attendees can take back to their organisations.
Prevent aims to safeguard vulnerable people from becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism, by engaging with people who are vulnerable to radicalisation and protecting those who are being targeted by terrorist recruiters.
