It's voting day Notts!
Voters go to the polls today to elect 66 county councillors from seven districts across Nottinghamshire.
If you’re heading to a Polling station today to vote, please remember to:
- Wear a face covering, unless exempt.
- Use hand sanitisers at the entrance & exit.
- Follow the one-way system.
- Observe social distancing measures.
Polling stations are open 7am – 10pm and are safe & Covid compliant.
Pencils will be provided but please bring your own pen or pencil into the polling station if you wish.
❗You should not go to the polling station if you are unwell, showing Covid symptoms or are self-isolating❗
Use your vote to shape decisions in Notts on how we spend in excess of a £1 billion budget on services such as social care, health provision, highways, school admissions and more.
Your vote counts - use it. #VoteNotts
Don't worry - if you’ve forgotten to post your postal vote you can deliver it by hand to your polling station or you can get someone else to do this for you.
Polling stations close at 10pm.
Alternatively, you can take your postal vote to the elections office at the local council.

If you had planned on voting in person you can apply for an emergency proxy vote up until 5pm on polling day on the grounds of having, or being at risk of having, coronavirus.
Staff in the elections office at your local district or borough council will be able to give you more details on this procedure.
