Covid-19 vaccine bookings open for 42 year olds in Nottinghamshire
In Nottinghamshire people aged 42 or over are now eligible for a Covid-19 vaccine. Vaccinations can be arranged using the online booking service or by calling 119.
The vaccine is our best protection against Covid-19. Please take up your opportunity to be vaccinated when it’s your turn.
A new study by Public Health England has shown that one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine reduces household transmission by up to half. It is still important to increase your protection by getting both doses of the vaccine when it’s your turn. It’s also vital to continue to wash your hands regularly and follow social distancing guidance, even if you've had the jab.

Everyone over the age of 16 should check in to venues such as pubs, hairdressers, cafes and gyms when they visit. You can do this by giving your name and contact details to venue staff or checking in using the QR code on the NHS Covid-19 app.
NHS Test and Trace helps trace close recent contacts of anyone who tests positive for coronavirus and, if necessary, notifies them that they must self-isolate at home to help stop the spread of the virus.

With all non-essential shops reopen we'd like to remind you to wear your face covering when out and about this bank holiday weekend.
