Meetings others safely outdoors

Taking the next step together safely

It's the second week of Step 2 of the Roadmap and we've seen some of our much-loved Nottinghamshire venues and businesses reopen. Whilst we enjoy seeing restrictions eased, protecting each other and keeping Covid-19 rates down is still our priority. It’s vitally important that everyone sticks with the restrictions in place to help ensure we can stay on track. The next phase of the Roadmap is due to take place next month and everyone is being reminded that what they do now could have an impact on what happens then. We can do this by continuing to follow the guidance:

  • Wash your hands frequently, wear a face covering in indoor venues (unless you’re exempt), keep a space of two metres between you and people you don’t live with and let fresh air into your home
  • Up to six people from any number of households (rule of 6) or two households can meet outdoors
  • Get a free rapid test, twice a week if you’re over 18. Testing for secondary school pupils and college students is arranged through their institution
  • If your rapid test is positive, please take a PCR test to confirm this
  • Remember to register your test result – that way we can analyse the proportion of the population who test positive and negative overall
  • If you are offered a vaccination do take up the offer. If you have questions or concerns, speak to your GP or other trusted health professional
  • Even if you’ve had a vaccination you should still follow all of the guidance to protect your friends and family.

Stop the spread of Covid-19

Pregnancy and vaccination

Vaccine

If you're pregnant, you should be offered the Covid-19 vaccine when you're eligible. You'll be offered the Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna vaccine as they've been used more in pregnancy in other countries and have not caused any safety issues.
