The ceremonial royal funeral for HRH Prince Philip will be held at St George’s Chapel, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, at 3pm on Saturday, 17 April and will be televised.

In Nottinghamshire, an Evensong Including Prayers and Devotion to HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh will be held at Southwell Minster on Friday afternoon.

Twice weekly rapid testing available to everyone over 18

Lateral Flow Test

All Notts residents over 18 are now able to access free, rapid lateral flow tests for themselves and their families to use twice a week.

People aged 18 and over in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham will be able to collect two boxes of seven tests per person or four boxes per family from our asymptomatic community testing sites.

Ensuring close-contact services are Covid-secure

Hairdresser covid secure

We are working with the Health and Safety Executive to engage with close contact services like hairdressing, barbers, and nail salon businesses across Notts to check they have Covid-secure measures in place and to help tackle Covid-19 in the local area.

During the checks, officers will provide advice and guidance to manage risk and protect workers, customers and visitors.
