 Reception and primary school places for September
National Offer Day for children starting in reception or transferring from infant to junior/primary school (Year 3) in September 2021 is coming up, on Friday 16 April.
Parents who applied online will be able to view their offer by logging in to their online application on 16 April. Those who opted to receive an email outcome will also get an email with the name of the school their child has been offered.
Outcomes cannot be given over the phone. For anyone who applied by phone or post, we will send offer letters out on 16 April and they will arrive within a few days.

Covid home test kits for parents and carers of schoolchildren
|
We’re encouraging adults in households with primary school, secondary school and college-age children or young people, including childcare and support bubbles, to test themselves twice a week.
The aim of rapid testing is to help stop the spread of infections, especially now that schools are open to all pupils.
If you don’t have Covid-19 symptoms and you live in the same household as a school or college-age child or young person, you can get a test for free.

Free school meals over Easter

The county council’s free school meals scheme is being extended to provide more than 25,000 children and young people food through the Easter holidays.

The annual Rufford Abbey Country Park Easter Egg Hunt is back from Friday 2 April - Sunday 18 April

 Hop along to Rufford Abbey Country Park between 2-18 April and take part in their Easter egg hunt. There’s even a prize at the end if you find them all. At only £2 (which includes your trail sheet) you will be sure to have great time with all the family.
