Protect yourself from flu
This winter more than ever, with COVID-19 still circulating, we need to help reduce all avoidable risks. You can help protect the NHS, social care and loved ones by getting the flu vaccine – the single most effective way to prevent getting the flu and protecting those close to you.
Those eligible for the free vaccine are over 65s; pregnant women; school children up to year 7; toddlers aged 2 – 3 and people with underlying health conditions.
The coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on carers, but there is support available to help you. The Nottinghamshire Carers Hub is running a series of virtual support groups throughout November where you can get information and advice and speak to other carers. You can also set up a virtual drop in session via WhatsApp video with a support worker at a time to suit you.
Book a virtual session by contacting the Nottinghamshire Carers Hub on 0115 8248 824 or

We are planning how we improve our day services and short breaks for adults and would like our current and potential service users and carers to get involved.
The pandemic has meant that services have had to be delivered in more innovative ways. Changes to services due to social distancing have also impacted on carers, so we need to know how to support people in their caring roles.

Have you or a family member used home-based care after leaving hospital? We need your help to make our ‘rapid response’ home care services even better.
We are looking for a group of volunteers to join a virtual working group for Notts.
