COVID-19 Community Fund update
Our COVID-19 Community Fund, which has awarded more than £673,000 to 249 organisations, comes to a close after six months of supporting charities, voluntary groups and parish and town councils working hard to support vulnerable Nottinghamshire residents impacted by the pandemic.
Despite our Community Fund ending the support for funding doesn't stop there. Further grants are still available via the Emergency Assistance Fund. (Scroll down for further information)
So, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you Nottinghamshire.
A message of thanks from the Leader of the County Council, Cllr Kay Cutts, MBE...
“I’m proud of the way the Community Fund and the hard work and dedication of volunteers has made a real difference to people’s lives and helped thousands of residents get through a very tough time.”
In light of the new ‘rule of six’ guidance on all gatherings we are looking to start arranging outdoor photo opportunities again to help promote LIS-funded projects! (subject to social distancing)
Things will have to be done a little differently of course. A maximum of five people can be in a (socially distanced) line up – allowing for one person to take the photos.
If you have received funding through our Local Improvement Scheme Fund, tell us all about your project so we can celebrate the work you do to help your local community. Send us the details via the link below.
