Recycling Centres update

From Monday 1 June all Recycling Centres in Nottinghamshire are open to cars only, as the remaining sites of Giltbrook, Kirkby, Mansfield and West Bridgford reopen.

All recycling centres will be open from 8am to 6pm, 7 days a week (from 1 June)...so no need to rush to the sites.

You can only take the following materials:

  • garden waste
  • wood
  • cardboard
  • metals
  • waste electrical
  • electronic equipment
  • general waste

From Monday 8 June pickup trucks, trailers and van will also be allowed onsite.

Don't forget restrictions are in place on site:

  • visitors must follow strict social distancing guidelines.
  • one car in, one car out policy.
  • staff are onsite, but they are unable to help unload due to social distancing.

If you have coronavirus symptoms, are self-isolating or at a high risk of contracting the virus you should not travel to the sites.

Please read our FAQs for more information before you visit a site.
