Nottinghamshire schools preparing for the next phase 📚

Return-to-school

During the Covid-19 pandemic, most schools across the county have remained open for vulnerable children and the children of keyworkers and we are very grateful to all our teachers and school staff for their dedication in teaching and supporting our children.

Teachers celebrated on Thank A Teacher Day

Thank a Teacher

The Council is thanking teachers for the difference they make to the lives of young people as part of National Thank A Teacher Day.

This year, we particularly recognise the part teachers and schools have played in the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. And this extends to wider school teams, and all education and early years settings.

Throughout the lockdown Notts schools have remained open, providing vital support to children of key workers and to the most vulnerable children, as well as providing remote learning to their pupils who are at home.

Thank you teachers 🌟
