Need for more foster carers remains in national coronavirus pandemic
It is as important as ever for people to come forward as foster carers during the coronavirus crisis, as children and young people continue to face challenges and turbulent home lives, foster carers are able to step in and help them.
We need people to come forward who can open their home to a child or young person in need, as there are still lots of children and young people out there who need our help.
The coronavirus crisis might have given you the opportunity to think about the future and how you can help those outside of your immediate family. If that’s the case, our foster care team is still very much available and will be holding a ‘virtual coffee and fostering chat’ on Wednesday 20 May, 1.30 – 2.30pm, with details and links on our website and fostering Facebook page:
