Stay home stay safe

❤️‼️ Stay Home, Stay Safe ‼️❤️

As the weather starts to improve and Easter approaches, many people would usually be making plans to go out to see family and friends.

It is important to remember that we must all stay home to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. Please don't drive to local beauty spots or parks. You should only leave the house for very limited purposes:

✅ shopping for basic necessities

✅ one form of exercise a day – alone or with members of your household

✅ any medical need

✅ travelling for work purposes, but only where you cannot work from home

You can still go to the park for outdoor exercise once a day but only alone or with members of your household. Stay local, use open spaces near to your home where possible and keep 2 metres apart from others at all times.

While you’re still able to use the public rights of way network, please consider others - especially where paths go through private gardens and property, as residents may be self-isolating and shielding themselves from others. Please use your discretion and think about others, in particular vulnerable members of our community.

Central Government have given specific advice on what you can and can't do with regard to leaving the house.

Easter school holidays 🐰

Easter bunny

While the Easter holidays will be very different this year for families who are usually out and about, they can still be full of fun and excitement from home!

Lots of museums, galleries, theatres and productions are offering free virtual tours or on-demand viewing opportunities so you can bring fantastic cultural experiences to your living room.

County Life magazine 📖

County Life

Look out for our resident’s magazine, County Life landing on your doorstep next week!

The magazine was produced before the Coronavirus outbreak, so while it doesn't mention Coronavirus it does include information about the services we provide for you and your family and our ambitious plans for the future once we’ve got though this difficult time together.

Recycling centres closed

Please remember that all Nottinghamshire Recycling Centres are closed. Any waste you would normally take to a recycling centre should not be placed in to your kerbside bin - instead it should be stored safely until the sites re-open.
