Could you help an older person stay independent?

We are looking for paid ‘Shared Lives’ carers who can help support older people in their local area to be independent by taking them out shopping, driving them to appointments or doing activities together like gardening, cooking or crafts.

Our Shared Lives rural outreach service matches carers with people in their area who could benefit from support. Carers receive training and are paid depending on the level of need of the person they look after. Flexible working arrangements are available, but some of the support needs to be delivered in the carer’s home.
