Congratulations to Sophie Baker! 

Our Eat like an Athlete competition winner

Youngsters across the county were set an ‘eat like an athlete’ challenge to design a nutritious school meal and Radcliffe Junior pupil Sophie Baker, 8, has been named our winner for her imaginative menu. 

Schools will be invited to serve up Sophie’s winning menu on Friday 7 September – on the eve of the Tour of Britain coming to Nottinghamshire – as part of a special themed day.

Sophie Baker, who is keen to become a triathlete, had the chance to meet a local world champion triathlete, Sophie Coldwell, as part of her prize.
