It's now just a couple of days until this year's Robin Hood Festival. Have you planned which day or days you're going and what you're going to see?
See what is happening each day of the festival and plan your visit with this year's programme. You can pick up a souvenir programme for just £1 at the festival which includes more information and this year's festival folk!
 Falconry
We have falconry displays on the festivals jousting days, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. This year Ye Old Redtail Falconry will be performing on Wednesday, and we welcome newcomers Falconry Life for the show on Saturday and Sunday.
We also welcome Go Active Falconry, Monday - Friday on the Major Oak Path. This static display includes hawks, falcons, owls and eagles.
And coming back is Chris Miller Falconry walks that you can book onto and enjoy Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (call 06123 823202 to book). So there are plenty of chances for you to enjoy birds of prey this year!

It is one of the most popular events at the Robin Hood Festival and English Heritage are now lobbying to get jousting in the 2020 Olympics!
With a combination of athleticism, agility and equestrianism English Heritage argues that this makes it an ideal candidate for the Tokyo Olympics. You can see for yourself at this year's festival if you think it has a chance to be entered as a new sport!
