This year's festival is being held on 1 - 7 August in the heart of Sherwood Forest.
 Newcomers to the festival
This year we are pleased to announce that we have Bear with Me for the first time. They will be attending on Thursday to Sunday and you will be able to find them on the Major Oak path or near the Children's Play Area.
But remember if you go down to the woods you might be in for a surprise...

 A welcomed return
Kids Pony Parties Rides are back for a second year. Following the popularity of their first appearance at the festival last year, they are back for all budding Robins and Marians to enjoy!
Suitable for tots and children (up to a maximum weight of 8 stone), £3 per ride.

 Could you volunteer at this year's festival?
We're looking for people who are able to spare some time to come along and help out at this year's festival. Whether you can spare a day or a few, we would like to hear from you.
There are a variety of volunteer roles across the festival such as programme sellers, car park assistants and much more. If you are interested please email: marketing@nottscc.gov.uk

 Our official travel partner
We are proud to say that Stagecoach (who operate the Sherwood Arrow), are the official travel partner of this year's Robin Hood Festival.
As a family you will be able to arrive at the festival on board a bus designed with your favourite festival character for just £10 (up to two adults and three children).
You will also be able to visit the Stagecoach stand at the festival where you will be able to find information and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes!

 Help us test our new smartphone app!
We’ve developed
a new app to help visitors explore some of Rufford Abbey Country Park’s hidden
history as they walk around the modern day country park.
We’re looking
for iPhone and Android users to try out the new app and provide us with
feedback so that we can iron out any glitches! And as a thank you, the first 30
people who send us their feedback will receive a voucher for a free hot
drink and cake to use in the parks Coach House Café.
The app will
need to be downloaded before arriving at the park. Find out more
