The Rural Business Grant helps businesses grow sustainably by developing new products, services, and facilities that benefit the local economy and communities.
Minimum grants of £5,000 are available, and to demonstrate value for money applicants will be required to offer match funding. Applications must be submitted by January 31 2025 and any proposed purchase/works must be completed by March 2025.

The Rural Business Grant is being delivered by North Kesteven District Council for DEFRA under the Rural England Prosperity Fund. This allocation is an addendum to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Destination Lincolnshire is conducting a Business Barometer for tourism businesses across Lincolnshire. By gathering valuable insights on the successes and challenges experienced, they can better support the local visitor economy.
The data gathered will be analysed against national data sets from Visit England and other Local Visitor Economy Partnerships (LVEP's) where possible. The closing date for the survey is January 19.
 Enjoy free parking in Sleaford in all North Kesteven District Council-owned car parks, every Saturday in December, including December 21 and 28. This initiative aims to give a boost local to businesses by encouraging more people to shop and spend in the town centre during the festive season.
At each parking meter, you'll find a poster with a QR code linking to a survey. If using the Saturday free parking, please take a couple of minutes to fill in the survey and provide feedback.
