The Sleaford Shopfront Grant Scheme, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, is revitalising Sleaford's town centre by uncovering forgotten heritage features and restoring buildings.
Over £380,000 of funding has been allocated to 12 projects, covering up to 90% of costs. By the end of the scheme in March 2025, 15 shopfronts in Eastgate, Westgate, Southgate, Northgate, and Boston Road will be restored or have existing features repaired.
While only a few projects are complete, the transformations are already revealing beautiful historic details. While preserving Sleaford’s heritage, it also creates a vibrant environment for businesses, driving economic growth and enhancing community pride.
