Full-time (37 Hours) – Permanent
Grade B2 and £29,269 - £31,364 per annum
North Kesteven District Council is seeking a motivated individual to join the Disabled Facilities Grant team. This post puts you at the heart of a team delivering disabled adaptations services which is critical in the delivery of one of the Council’s core services.
Job Requirements:
- HNC in an appropriate building discipline or equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly through multiple channels
- Effective planning with the ability to work to deadlines
- Understanding and application of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of plans, drawings and schedule of relevant works
- Building contract administration and supervision
- Technical surveys
- Payment of contractors
Key Attributes:
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload
- Competent across all aspects of Building Surveying
- A highly organised and conscientious person
You will be required to apply a high level of attention to detail when carrying out this role, to support the delivery of the Councils statutory duties at a technical level and show an appreciation of the contribution local government can make to the welfare of the people living, working and visiting the district.
