North Kesteven District Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Waste & Street Scene team; This post puts you at the heart of a customer focused team which is critical in the delivery of the Council’s waste service.
Job Requirements:
- Clean driving licence
- Previous experience of undertaking inspections, monitoring and recording findings
- ICT proficient
- Experience with customers
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond and resolve enquires relating to the Waste & Street Scene service by working with all stakeholders
- Supporting/helping customers to understand and access our services
- Monitoring contracted services to ensure compliance with contracts
- Contribute to the continued improvement of our services

North Kesteven District Council is seeking an experienced finance professional to join the Finance team; This post puts you at the heart of a dynamic and high performing department which is critical in the delivery of the Council’s objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Fully CCAB qualified
- Experience in local government finance
- Ability to lead and motivate a team as well as manage workloads within tight timescales
Key Responsibilities:
- To support the Strategic Finance Manager in delivery of the key function of business partnering i.e the provision of financial, commercial and strategic support to the Directors, Assistant Directors and Service Managers
- Ensure that all internal and external management and financial accounting deadlines are achieved
- Provide financial advice and technical guidance, together with innovative financial solutions and strategies in order that informed and timely decisions can be made by officers and Members
- Lead the end of year financial processes to ensure the service meets their year end targets and sound financial management in the organisation
- Develop and improve the capability of direct reports in line with the ‘Our People’ Strategy
