More businesses in North Kesteven have joined Zellar and received their live sustainability score, along with a sustainability plan suggesting improvements.
UK Alternative Energy, renewable energy specialists based in North Hykeham, have shared their thoughts below:
"I've been looking over the last three years for somebody or a company to help take my company on a carbon neutral journey...
Seeing that NKDC were helping subsidise Zellar has now made it achievable for me and my company to start this journey, which I'm very passionate, pleased and excited about. I’m also hoping that showing our people and business what we are doing will encourage them to follow suit."
To qualify for a free one-year Zellar license a business must be a micro-SME (up to 10 employees) or SME (under 250 employees) with a base in North Kesteven. The offer is available to the first 300 qualifying enterprises that apply before 31 March 2024.

RiverLight is set to return to Sleaford on Saturday 21 October. The festival brings people together through a sense of local pride and belonging through creative experiences, cultural events and community projects.
Planning has commenced; however, we want businesses in Sleaford to get involved. Whether you’re based along the high street or further afield, there's something for everyone. Would you be interested in having a RiverLight display in your shop window? Or could you stay open late or run a promotion to draw the crowds to you? If you’re based further afield, you could be a RiverLight sponsor.
Email Levellingup@n-kesteven.gov.uk to get involved or discuss ideas. Keep up to date with this years festival by following @Riverlightfestival on Facebook and Instagram.
This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
