STREET CLEANER/GENERAL LABOURER FULL TIME - ANNUALISED HOURS WITH SEASONAL BALANCE TO AVERAGE 37 HOURS PER WEEK OVER THE YEAR Lynton and Lynmouth Town Council seek enthusiastic and conscientious person to join our small workforce keeping the Parish clean and tidy. This post allows 7 day a week coverage in the summer season and fewer winter hours when demand reduces. Successful applicant will work a 40 hours per week rota in Summer covering weekends/Bank Holidays (days off in the week) and 32 hour week in Winter – this has been found to work well and is the preferred recruitment option. Additional hours may be necessary in the busiest weeks mid-summer to keep standards high. Good rates of pay, annual leave and pension contributions make the job attractive for permanent year-round work with seasonal fluctuations. The job is subject to national legislation and standards against which your performance will be measured and inspected. Start date will be in time for the Easter Holiday period. Starting salary: £16,495.00
