Residents told to 'keep up the good work'

Keep up the good work, and remember it’s not over yet – that is the advice for North Lincolnshire residents after Covid-19 restrictions were eased.

Steve Pintus, Northern Lincolnshire’s Director of Public Health, urged people to remember that Covid-19 hasn’t gone away, and only by sticking to the rules will we get back to a more normal life.

Wildflower transformation for A18

More than three tonnes of litter has been cleared from the A18 – Mortal Ash Hill – in a mass operation that involved more than 300 volunteer hours and the planting of 20,000 sqm of wildflower seed.

The five-day operation was a partnership between litter-picking volunteers and North Lincolnshire Council workers.

People in North Lincolnshire are being encouraged to consider adopting groups of brothers and sisters as part of a new national campaign.

An online information event is being held by North Lincolnshire Council’s adoption team online on Wednesday 5 May 2021, from 5.30pm and people can sign up on Eventbrite.
