Visitor slots

 

Feedback from our visitors has shown us that you’re happy with booking a visitor slot as it allows you to safely distance from other visitors.

 

If you would like to visit the Museum, please book your entrance slot here

 

The lift will remain closed for the majority of the day, if you require lift access, please book our access slot

 

Booking an entry slot isn't compulsory as we do allow walk ups, although if someone has booked an entry slot at the time you arrive you may have to wait a few minutes before you're allowed to enter

Shoreline, Skyline, Treetop Messenger

 

Commissioned by Invisible Dust, the artists 'Juneau Projects' worked with scientists to explore historic and contemporary bird populations in the local area, and issues causing species decline. This new work is in two parts: an installation in which hand modelled sculptures were cast in bronze and an artists' book comprising handmade illustrations.

To celebrate this year’s Artist in Residence programme at North Lincolnshire Museum, Tracy will be talking about her wider practice, the challenges of researching and developing a residency during lockdown and introducing the works created.


The online event will take place on Thursday 29th October 2020 from 4 - 5pm

Medieval Crafts exhibition 

 

‘Medieval Crafts’ is a celebration of the rich array of skills and trades practised during the medieval period. In this exhibition we will be exploring the stories behind the finished products.

 

‘Medieval Crafts’ will look at the tools and techniques used to make these artefacts, at how they changed and developed through time and how they fitted into wider medieval society. Come and see it now.
