Brigg Live Arts Fest on Saturday 12th May is this year themed ‘Rhythm and Rhyme’ with the programme for the day including something for everyone! In the Market Place and town centre there will be high quality, specialist crafts, stalls promoting local organisations, local performers and groups showcasing their skills.
In St John’s Church poet Mike Smith will perform ‘Rhythm and Rhyme – Time for a Song’ followed by Folk Round ‘Ere presenting a recreation of the 1905 North Lincolnshire Musical Competition that was held in Brigg. There will be a Scottish Dance workshop for all in the Buttercross at 11am.
