More homes for rent from buy back scheme

Buy back scheme

We’re bringing more homes back into use for rent across North Lanarkshire as our successful Open Market Purchase Scheme meets and exceeds its target of 100 for the year.

The scheme allows the purchase of houses for sale on the open market in areas where there is a clear demand for that type and size of property to add to our current stock.

This initiative forms part of our ambitious plans to improve and expand our housing stock and helps supplement our new house building programme. Find out more.

New council homes for Plains

Plains new build site

Plains is the location for our latest new council house building project with work now underway on the site of the area’s former primary school.

This exciting new development at Annieshill View, will see 16 new homes for the area and continues our drive to deliver 5,000 affordable homes by 2035.

Our latest new build project comprises a range of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses, bungalows and cottage flats – with two of the homes designed for wheelchair users and six being built to amenity standard. Find out more
