Be part of our Community Board meetings

Working with people and local organisations within our communities is vital to ensuring we fulfil our ambition to make North Lanarkshire the place to Live, Learn, Work, Invest, and Visit. And one of the ways we’re empowering residents is through our Community Boards.
Nine Community Boards have been established across the area: Airdrie, Bellshill, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Motherwell, Wishaw, Kilsyth, Shotts and the Northern Corridor, and dates for the next board meetings have now been set. These boards allow people and communities to play a crucial role in shaping the decisions that will affect them and where they live.
Due to the pandemic we can’t meet in person, so our meetings are taking place via Webex with representatives of community groups and organisations, such as community councils and tenants/residents associations, taking part. You can ask your representative to raise your views at the meeting, or if you are interested in attending please contact communitymatters@northlan.gov.uk. All board meetings are live streamed on our YouTube channel and you can also send comments or questions during the meeting via email.
