Summerlee Museum

SUMMER DAY OUT? Alpaca my bag! Join the Alpacas at Summerlee Museum on Monday 16 July, from 11am to 4pm, for a meet and greet and walks!

This is just one part of the family fun coming to Summerlee Museum on its Fair Monday celebrations.

Fair day frolics begin at 11am, with alpaca activities, tram rides, mine tours, arts and crafts, Photo Art workshops and performances from the BFlat Miners, all on till 4pm.

Revellers can also bag themselves a memento, as the Balloon Modeller joins the fun from 12.30-3.30pm, wowing even the big kids.

Visitors can also feast their eyes on the Sweetie exhibition and test their skills on the sweetie trail.

Seaside Summer Fun Day
Monday 16 July
North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre, Motherwell

Enjoy a seaside summer fun day packed with activities for all the family at North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre on Monday 16th July from 11am – 3pm.

Visitors can take part in a range of free activities, including face painting, art & crafts activities and coconut shy. Enjoy digging for shells in the sand, crazy golf and challenging your friends to a knobbly knees competition.

Pavla’s Puppets will also be performing a family puppet show called “The 3 Wishes” at 1.30pm to 2.00pm, which is sure to be a big hit with children between 3-7 years.

Kick back, relax and enjoy a summer’s day out and take the opportunity to visit the Centre’s current exhibition ‘Oh, I do Like to be Beside the Seaside’, which is running until 25 August, to enjoy some holiday nostalgia.
