Cumbernauld 10K - Scotland's 10K of the Year will take place on Sunday 16 September 2018

Cumbernauld 10K

The event saw off stiff competition from 20 others to be named Scotland's 10K of the year at the 2018 National Running Awards in London.

The race was created in 2007 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Cumbernauld becoming a new town.

A huge part of the event's appeal is the stadium start and finish at Broadwood which provides a unique experience for runners and also the free family activities which encourage the whole community to get involved.

Recent developments include the introduction of children's events which started as a 1k for the P5 to P7 year groups but has now been extended to include younger children in a 400m event.

There's also a toddler dash and a 3k event for high school children (S1-S4).

This year's event will take place on Sunday 16 September and there are already over 900 people signed up.

So, don't miss your chance to take part in what is now officially Scotland's best 10k - sign up today at www.q-buster.co.uk/cumbernauld10k
