 SUPER Scottish folk band Gaberlunzie
is inviting locals to join them in celebrating their 50th
Anniversary, with a gig in Airdrie Town Hall, on Friday 6 April.
Famous for celebrating Scotland’s past
and present landscape, lead singers Robin Watson and Gordon Menzies blend
modern and traditional styles.
Preforming hits like Scots Wha Hae,
Glasgow Dan and Is a Dove a Do; Gaberlunzie will please fans with materials old
and new. This will include tracks from
their latest album Of A’ The Airts.
With 25 albums and three videos
recorded, the band has gained a wealth of experience in the 50 years they have
been performing together.
