The Catholic Head Teachers' Association Scotland (CHAS) annual conference was held this week in the Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld.
Pupils from Our Lady's High School provided the music for the Mass, and were a credit to the school, their families and themselves. Their fantastic performance was commented on by the clergy and visitors to the conference. A particular congratulations goes to Sheen Shelton who led the singing of the Psalm.

Pupils from our cluster primaries visited Our Lady’s
last week as part of their Transition Project which focuses on the safe use of
Social Media.
In the next few weeks pupils and staff from all six primaries and Our Lady’s, will
work together to create, design and produce blogs, posters, t-shirts and
broadcasts that highlight the safe use of social media within our society.
The hard work of both pupils and staff will
be celebrated in a show case at Our Lady’s High School taking place on Tuesday
13 June. The project itself has been a huge success so far and
last week was awarded an Excellence and Equity award from North Lanarkshire
Council.

Please support us in ensuring your child has full PE kit for every PE lesson. This includes a plain white t shirt, dark shorts or tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
If your child has an illness or injury they should still come prepared with their kit and a note to explain the injury/illness. Once changed into their kit, they will be asked to take on a different role in the lesson.
We would greatly appreciate your support in ensuring a positive ethos in our department.
