19 March 2017 - Discover Mosswater Local Nature Reserve

A guided walk around the beautiful Mosswater Reserve, discover the wildlife that make this site their homes.

Time - 12 noon to 2pm

25 March 2017 - Bird Box Construction

 

Come along and join the Countryside Rangers to make a bird box which can be hung in your garden for the birds to nest in this spring. Takes place at Strathclyde Country Park.

5 April 2017 - Pond dipping at Baron's Haugh

Now that spring is here and the world is warming up, it is time to find out what creatures are lurking in a watery world at RSPB Scotland Baron's Haugh. Wellingtons are essential.

9 April 2017 - Kids Volunteer Day at Katie Bairdie's Farm

Join us for a fun, active and mucky day working with the animal keepers in Katie Bairdie's Farm.

Join the reserve warden to look for all kinds of fascinating creepy crawlies in amongst the woods and meadows at Baron's Haugh.

Dawn is the best time of day to listen to the songs of our resident birds and summer migrants. Join us on an early morning ramble through Drumpellier Country Park as the dawn chorus unfolds around us.

16-17 April 2017 - Spring Fling at Katie Bairdie's Farm

Join in the celebration of spring, Easter and the new born animals in Katie Bairdie's Farm in Palacerigg. We'll have lots of baby animals for you to see. 

Time - 12 noon to 4pm each day

Bring the family along to our annual celebration. Join in the Easter Bonnet competition with prizes to be won.Takes place at Greenhead Moss & Perchy Pond Local Nature Reserve

Come and learn the essential skills and knowledge required to keep chickens of your own. We'll cover breed selection, housing, nutrition, behaviour and egg rearing. Event takes place at Palacerigg Country Park
