Environmental Action Team to keep streets cleaner

Action Team

We have set up a new Environmental Action Team to tackle issues of litter, graffiti, fly tipping and overgrown shrubbery to help keep communities cleaner.

We're encouraging residents to report any incidences of these problems which will then be passed to the Team.

The Action Team will deal with incidents of: litter; pruning overgrown vegetation; graffiti; fly tipping; cleaning road signs obscured by dirt or shrubs; uplifting dead animals from the roads; and removing syringes and broken glass.

Residents can call Northline on 01698 403110 or report issues online.

Calls to Northline will be reported directly to the Environmental Action Team with staff working in local communities using hand-held devices to react to issues quickly and efficiently.
