Park in Airdrie was the focus of a site visit by the Leader of North
Lanarkshire Council, Councillor Jim Logue, and Housing Convener, Councillor
Barry McCulloch. Proposals are being developed to deliver new council homes on
this site at part of the councils NL Homes programme.
Plans will
include 20 new homes, with at least one wheelchair adapted property and will
form part of our ambitious new house building programme which will see 2,150
new council homes built by 2027.
“It’s great to be able to come out to future
sites and hear about the plans for our fantastic new homes,” explained Leader
of North Lanarkshire Council, Councillor Jim Logue. “I’m delighted with the
excellent progress we’ve made on delivering new, affordable council housing
across the area.
