We’re here to help keep our communities safe

ASTF

With Christmas just around the corner, we want to remind our residents that we’re here to deal with serious incidents of antisocial behaviour.

Many families and people get together for the festivities of Christmas and New Year. While we know people will enjoy a party or family gathering, we ask that you think about your neighbours and help them enjoy a peaceful Christmas too.

Whether it’s loud music, noisy parties or people coming and going at all hours it can be a difficult time for neighbours, and tensions can mount.

Our responsive service will operate during the Christmas and New Year period, with officers available to deal with ongoing antisocial behaviour. This includes officers handing out on-the-spot fines; removing noise nuisance equipment from homes, and with the support of our partners, Police Scotland, putting an immediate stop to serious antisocial behaviour incidents. Since the introduction of our new service we’ve resolved 99% of complaints.

Our antisocial service can be contacted 24 hours-a-day on 0300 123 1382.

We hope all our residents enjoy a peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
