Disco Fever

The children had the most amazing time at the Parent Council disco.  We could not continue to offer the children such fun without the support of so many parent helpers.  We were delighted with the support shown and are truly grateful for your help. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as the children.

Save the Date

As you’ll all be aware Whitelees Primary School is 40 years old this year.  We thought it fitting that we should help with celebrations....so instead of the Easter Family Fun Night we are going to host a Celebration Night.  It will be a similar format with lots of family fun and games and amazing prizes, celebrating the schools successes over the past 40 years.  If there are any former pupils out there that have any old photos or memorabilia then we’d love to see them.  Further details to follow but please save the date....... Friday 29th April.

Garden Gang

We need your help to tidy up and maintain the wonderful things that were achieved at Dig In Day last year.  This will allow our children to continue to enjoy their outside learning in the best possible environment. So Mums, Dads, Grannies, Grandpas or any green fingered folk that you know, roll up your sleeves and join us.....we’ll provide the tools and the tea.  Even a wee half hour would be really brilliant and make such a difference.  14th May is our first session, meet us at the front school gate at 9am and we’ll get stuck in.

Parent Council Funds

In order to allow the children to experience outside learning in the best possible way we are looking at helping to fund outdoor clothing to keep them clean....as much as possible... and warm. The school office are currently sourcing the outdoor clothing.  We’ll keep you updated on progress.
