  Dear colleagues
Thank you to everyone who has warmly welcomed me to the Trust.
My passion for the NHS has driven me through 25 dedicated years of service (although you might still catch a hint of my Kiwi accent!).
I've had the privilege of serving in various roles, including Chief Nurse and Chief Operating Officer, and I am truly thrilled to be part of UHSussex working alongside such fantastic and talented staff.

In my short time here, I've already witnessed the dedication and compassion of colleagues. However, I also recognise that we have opportunities to improve our systems and processes to ensure everyone can flourish and deliver the best care possible.
I am always eager to meet colleagues, so please feel free to invite me to your area. Your thoughts and suggestions for improvement are invaluable, and I encourage you to share them with me.
I look forward to supporting individuals and teams, building on our successes and continuing to improve our services for the benefit of our patients. Together, we can achieve great things!
Thank you,
Nigel Kee | Interim Chief Operating Officer
 New non-emergency patient transport service

Potential phishing emails imitating NHS suppliers
Several phishing emails are being sent to NHS staff through genuine supplier email accounts. The emails, which you can see examples on the intranet, request staff to click on links that direct to a website to provide personal details.
Please be careful of any suspicious emails.
- Do not click any links, or open attachments you are not expecting.
- Report any suspicious emails as phishing to your IT team.
- Do not respond to any requests or provide any personal information.

The below graph shows the number of patients waiting more than 65 weeks for elective care across our divisions.
