NIHR Public Health Fellowships
NIHR School of Public Health has launched their fellowship competition, offering the opportunity to start a pre-doctoral or post-doctoral fellowship. Applicants who have worked or are currently working within public health practice are invited to apply.
Fellowships will be aligned to the NIHR School of Public Health research programmes:
- Health inequalities
- Public mental health
- Healthy places, healthy planet
- Children, young people & families

Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research Delivery
The PGCert in Clinical Research Delivery offered by Newcastle University provides a forum to develop the necessary network, skills, and confidence for healthcare workers to support and lead research delivery. The PGCert provides strong theoretical and practical knowledge of clinical research.
The course consists of two online interactive modules and a practical experience within your regional network allowing you to bring the theory into practice.

NIHR has launched the 'virtual college' training hub, which brings together the latest training and career development opportunities for ARC North East North Cumbria members.
The hub includes training on research methods, project management and much more. Additionally, the hub details events from across NIHR research themes. The training hub is easy to access via desktop or mobile devices.

North East North Cumbria Research Design Service
RDS NENC provides research design and methodological advice to health and social care researchers who are developing applications for national peer-reviewed funding. The service aims to increase the number of quality applications for health and social care research that benefits patients and the public.
